About the Artist
Erin Porrey is an artist from Appleton, WI, whose work explores complex issues using colorful photography, sculpture, and painting. Her work often uses humor and a diverse array of subjects, ranging from plastic waste to hyper-processed foods. Her current body of work investigates the degeneration of the American Dream.
A lifelong learner, Porrey graduated summa cum laude from American University in Washington, DC earning a Bachelor in International Studies and holds a Certificate Degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Harvard University. In 2025, she earned a Bachelor in Studio Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She is the recipient of the Hagemeister Family Merit Scholarship for Art and the Jerry Dell Award. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including shows at Northern State University (Aberdeen), The Art Garage (Green Bay), Praxis Gallery (Minneapolis), and Black Box Gallery (Portland).
